Ques 2. Describe the process of fertilisation in human beings.
Ans. Fertilisation is the process by which the nucleus of a sperm fuses with the nucleus of an egg. In human fertilisation occur in the fallopian tube of the female reproductive tract. Such fusion of the egg and the sperm is called fertilisation. Once the head of the sperm is inside the egg and the tail of the sperm off. A Fertilised egg cell is known as Zygote.

Ques 6. Define asexual reproduction. Describe two methods of asexual reproduction in animals.
Ans. Asexual Reproduction :- Reproduction that involve only a single parent is called asexual reproduction. It occurs with out the union of male and female gametes.
Budding and Binary fission are method of asexual reproduction in animals.
a) Budding:- Hydra reproduces by budding. Small budges develop on hydra as buds and later form new individual.
